With an extraordinary passion for ministry, Barica Horner humbly and faithfully fulfills the call on her life to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ordained minister now serves as the Assistant Pastor of Pentecostal Missionary Baptist Church, Memphis, TN.

Barica holds a Bachelor’s in Professional Studies/Organizational Leadership from the University of Memphis. She has a total of 25+ years as an Administrative and compliance professional with experience in non-profit and human resources. She enjoys music, writing, and reading, tremendously!
I initiated this endeavor as part of a vision assigned by God. As a wife, whose husband recently passed away, I am compelled to bring inspiration, encouragement, and hope to others who have lost loved ones, as well.

It wasn’t until I experienced this great loss that I realized mourning and grieving, although both are a significant part of the healing process, they are not necessarily the same, as one would assume.
​
As I continue to walk this journey in faith, it is by the grace of a caring God and loving family and friends that I’ve come to understand that healing and restoration do come when we experience such great loss. Let’s travel this journey together!
